Cabrini Ministries is a faith-based and community-based nonprofit organization working in the Lubombo lowveld of Swaziland. Its mission is to provide comprehensive care for those infected with and affected by HIV, AIDS and TB in the rural chiefdoms of Ngcamphalala, Mamba, and Gamedze. Cabrini has been in these chiefdoms since 1971 responding to the most pressing needs of the communities. In 2002 all resources were refocused towards healthcare and care of orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs).

Cabrini utilizes healthcare, childcare, education, and agricultural development to address issues in the local community brought about by the HIV and TB pandemics that are gripping the nation. The HIV prevalence rate in the catchment area is estimated at 50% with high TB comorbidity. This is coupled with an 18-year drought, high unemployment rates and a significant lack of healthcare and childcare services. Despite the many challenges, Cabrini is bringing about its vision of “Restoring Life.”

To honor their incredible commitment to others, Baz Persaud made cufflinks and a necklace from the Cabrini Ministries logo, and we donate 15% of each sale to The Cabrini Mission Foundation. You can show your support daily, and spread the word about this wonderful organization!
